Christmastrees

Buitengoed: from holiday park to Christmas tree nursery.

Everything for the perfect Christmas tree during the festive season! Because outdoor living is in our DNA, we make sure you can enjoy the ultimate outdoor experience in winter too. Choose your own Christmas tree together and turn it into a fun family outing, complete with hot chocolate and a visit to our Christmas shop.

Choosing a Christmas tree together is a wonderful tradition, and it's exactly what we do best! At our Christmas Square you'll find freshly cut Nordmann firs, small Christmas trees, Norway spruces, and even trees that are kept extra fresh by being planted in our dig field. Did you know you can even dig up or cut down your own tree? Put on your boots, find your favourite tree, and enjoy the adventure ;) We offer a variety of Christmas trees at our Christmas Square:

Nordmann Fir (The Premium Choice)

The Nordmann fir is known for its beautiful glossy, dark green needles and perfectly shaped appearance. Its soft needles hardly drop, making it an excellent choice for families with children because they don't prick. The sturdy branches easily support heavier ornaments and decorations. Growing a Nordmann fir to around 1.5 metres takes approximately 10 years, resulting in an exceptional quality tree. Because of their deep taproot, these sustainably grown trees are mainly available as freshly cut trees.

Norway Spruce (Picea abies). The Classic Christmas Tree

This wonderfully fragrant classic has been bringing Christmas spirit into homes for generations. The Norway spruce has slightly sharper needles and sheds them a little faster than the Nordmann, but nothing compares to its unmistakable Christmas scent. Our organically grown Norway spruces have a beautiful pyramid shape, bright green needles and dense branching. Looking for a real adventure? You can even cut down or dig up your own Norway spruce. Take a walk through our dig field and make choosing your Christmas tree an unforgettable family experience.
