Where can I book my 2025 vacation?

Would you like to spend another holiday at Buitengoed de Boomgaard in 2025? You can!

Do you also have seasonal pitches?

Yes we do, only season 2025 is already fully booked. For more information or a spot on our reserve list, please contact us by email.

Can I barbecue?

Yes cozy, that's part of the outdoors and camping. You can also come to us for barbecue packages.

If I visit, do I have to pay?

Super nice of you to come visit one of our campers! We charge a small fee for this. For more info on this click here. This rate also applies if you come for a nice cup of coffee with one of our campers.

What to do in an emergency?

Are you a fireworks-free park?

Yes, we are a fireworks-free park. No fireworks may be set off here, so the park remains calm and safe for visitors and animals.

Can I bring my dog as a visitor or day visitor?

Dogs are unfortunately not allowed at our play pond, day recreation field, but are welcome on the rest of the grounds if leashed. In addition to the entrance fee for yourself, we charge €1.50 for your dog.

Overnight

If I visit, do I have to pay?

Super nice of you to come visit one of our campers! We charge a small fee for this. For more info on this click here. This rate also applies if you come for a nice cup of coffee with one of our campers.

Can I bring my dog as a visitor or day visitor?

Dogs are unfortunately not allowed at our play pond, day recreation field, but are welcome on the rest of the grounds if leashed. In addition to the entrance fee for yourself, we charge €1.50 for your dog.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Camping pitches check-in from 13:00 and check-out until 12:00 ( Sunday until 20:00).
Camper pitches check-in from 13:00 and check-out until 12:00.
Our accommodations check-in from 15:00 and check-out until 10:30.

Arrival is possible only during the opening hours of our reception.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Yes, pets are allowed at our campground. However, please keep dogs and cats on a leash and it is nice for everyone if you clean up excrement immediately. Plastic bags can be picked up for free at the reception. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in our rental accommodations.

May I park my car near my camping spot?

We are a car-free campground. This means that you may only use your car to park your camping equipment upon arrival and departure. In between, please park in the general parking lots in the campground. For heavy groceries, tents or other luggage, we have box carts available.

I'm not 18 yet; can I come to camp?

If you are under 18, you can only come to camp when accompanied by a parent or other adult. We are a real family campsite and therefore independent camping under the age of 19 is not possible with us.

Can I celebrate a birthday at our campground?

Cozy! This is possible up to a maximum of 10 people including yourself, we do charge a fee for visitors. With more than 10 persons we will gladly reserve a place for you on our group field. Having your own party with family or friends at your pitch incl. some background music or silent disco is only possible on our group pitches, the music must not be audible to our other guests and may stay on until 23:00 at the latest.

May I light a fire at my camping spot?

Yes, campfire is part of camping, but in a fire bowl. At our reception we rent out fire bowls (of course you can have your own) and sell firewood. We also have stones at the reception to protect our beautiful grass ;-)

I did not receive a reservation confirmation?

Some security filters see our email address as unsafe, so our mail disappears in the spam box. Under settings you can specify our email address as safe so you won't miss any more messages from us.

How much electricity do I have at my camping spot?

We offer 6 ampere electricity, for this you need a special camping plug. These are also for sale in our camping store at the reception.

Can I indicate a preferred location?

Yes this can be done through our map online, for this we charge a preferential fee.

Can I park with a motorhome only at the motorhome sites?

No, only our camper pitches are paved so in case of prolonged bad weather, these are the best spots for campers. Of course, you can also book a regular camping spot with a camper, nice if you come with a group :)

How and where can I reserve a spot?

You can book your pitch online via the search and book page .

Here you can also check availability and by entering the period and number of persons, you will also see the corresponding rates.
Reservations can only be made online, we do not take bookings by phone. If you really can't make it, please send us an email and we will help you to complete your booking.

I have to cancel unexpectedly, is this possible?

In case of cancellations we apply the recron conditions. Any cancellations can only be made in writing. In case of cancellation, as a guest you will pay a fee that depends on when you cancel compared to your arrival date:

  • More than 3 months before the start date 15% of the agreed price
  • Within 2 to 3 months before the effective date 50% of the agreed price
  • Within 2 to 1 month before the effective date 75% of the agreed price
  • Within one month before the effective date 90% of the agreed price
  • On the day of the effective date 100% of the agreed price
  • In case of early cancellation of your vacation after the effective date 100% of the agreed price.

We always recommend purchasing travel or cancellation insurance in advance of your vacation.

Can I also book for 1 night on weekends?

Unfortunately no, this is only possible on our group field. You can always call last minute if there is still a place available for 1 night.

Can we also stand side by side?

This is possible, you can book your spot online and see if there are still two spots available next to each other. Then the other person can immediately book the other available spot themselves.

Can I arrive after reception hours?

Would you please let us know in advance? We would like to receive your license plate number and the barrier will open automatically through license plate recognition. Then you can drive yourself to your camping spot (number is on your reservation confirmation and the pole with the number is the center of the spot).
We are a car-free/cloudy campground, so arrival for the camping spots outside reception times is possible until 20:00 at the latest. Our camper spots at the front of the campground until 10:00 pm at the latest.

Can I use an army tent in a regular camping spot?

For army tents we have our group field available, please contact us for options.

Day Recreation

Can I bring my dog as a visitor or day visitor?

Is swimming allowed in the natural recreation lake?

Playing, swimming and staying at the lake is at your own risk, there is no supervision. Water quality is checked regularly.

I am 12 years old, can I come and play alone?

Under 18s are allowed entry only when accompanied by a parent.

At the tarp, can I bring my own drinks?

Yes, but you are not allowed to bring glassware.

I rented a tarp, what to do in bad weather?

We have no other bad weather provision, if you take drinks and snacks from our catering pavilion you can of course sit there dry. It is not allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks.

May I consume my own refreshments at the hospitality pavilion?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have your own snacks or drinks at our hospitality pavilion, including on the terrace.

We are coming with a group, may we hire an activity or entertainment?

Should you wish to hire something, you can do so in consultation with and through us. External suppliers and/or rental items are unfortunately not allowed.

Events

Yes this is possible and even in combination with your overnight stay. For rates and availability please contact our partner Beleef Het!

Occasional parties and sound

Celebrating something is also part of recreation, which is why on the weekends (except in high season) we regularly host weddings or occasional parties. These last until 00:00 at the latest and you may experience some noise.

Can I celebrate my wedding without staying overnight?

Unfortunately no, our venue is ideally suited for overnight stays and therefore we offer this only in combination with overnight stays.

When renting a venue, may I arrange my own catering?

At our Food and Drinks pavilion we organize something for everyone, from breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night snack. So unfortunately, in-house catering is not allowed, but feel free to contact us for options from our pavilion.

If I want to celebrate something, can music be played?

A little (background) music is of course part of it, but our location is not suitable for loud (amplified) music.

Because Buitengoed de Boomgaard is an outdoor location there are clear restrictions regarding the sound level. Buitengoed de Boomgaard has its own sound system with limiter, on which you can install your own music, iphone or other device and let it play over this sound system.

If you choose to hire a DJ, he or she will need to plug their equipment into the sound system of Buitengoed de Boomgaard.

If you want loud music during your party, then unfortunately Buitengoed de Boomgaard is not the right location.

I want to celebrate something with you, what should I consider?

Are you coming to celebrate something with us and not staying overnight with us? Then you pay day entrance fee. We also offer the possibility to rent for example a shade cloth incl. picnic table or part of the terrace at our catering pavilion.

Buitengeluk Festival

What kind of music and activities can I expect?

Think acoustic performances, yoga sessions, creative workshops, inspirational moments, massages and an atmospheric silent disco. Activities that relax, connect and surprise.

Do I have to pay for the workshops and activities?

Many activities are free and included with your ticket, but for some specific activities or workshops (like massages or portrait illustrations), a small fee applies. You can pay for these with a token, which you can buy at the Buitengoed camper on the festival grounds.

What is there to do for children?

Children can have fun with circus workshops, craft activities, fire and nature workshops, dancing, learning to write songs from a Singer song writer, baking sandwiches, kidsyoga, silent disco, face painting, jumping (from very high!) and joining in with all the musicians. And of course there is plenty of room to play freely in nature. The entire program will be online soon.

Are tickets sold at the door?

Yes, tickets are also available at the entrance. At the door, a ticket costs €16,50. Online, you can get family tickets at a better price. To be sure of your spot, it’s best to buy your ticket online in advance.

Is the hospitality pavilion open during the festival?

Yes, during the festival you can come here for cold drinks, tasty snacks, lunch and whole meals. There are also several food trucks, so plenty of goodies to enjoy throughout the day!

Can I park with you?

We recommend coming by bike or public transport. If you come by car, you can park in our lot, but for this you will also need a parking ticket and supplies are limited (gone = gone).

How can I pay at Buitengeluk Festival?

At the festival, we use special festival tokens, which you can use to pay at the food trucks and for certain activities or workshops. You can buy these tokens at the token booth on site (card payments only). Additionally, at the festival market and various stands, you can also pay directly—either by card or cash.

Can I exchange my tokens for money after the event?

No, tokens cannot be exchanged for money after the festival. So try to estimate what you’ll need, or grab a tasty treat from one of our food trucks at the end!

Do I need to print my ticket?

No need to print it. Your e-ticket with QR code is in your email, and you can simply have it scanned from your phone. Make sure your screen is bright enough and your battery is charged!

Where can I find the special Buitengeluk shirts and hoodies later?

We’ve got awesome shirts and hoodies that let you take a little extra Buitengeluk with you! Pick them up at our shop or at the festival market, great as a souvenir or to wear straight away.

Are there special places to sit or relax?

Absolutely. Throughout the site, you’ll find various spots to sit and relax. There are also cozy seating areas where you can retreat for a while, perfect if you’re looking for some quiet time!

Is it possible to stay overnight?

Tickets are easily purchased through our website on the Search and Book page. Outdoor happiness is best experienced when you come to enjoy the whole weekend.

A weekend ticket costs 75 euros for adults and 30 euros for children 4 years and older, younger children can come for free. These prices are automatically processed when you book your camping spot or accommodation.

Prefer to come and taste Buitengeluk for a day? On Saturdays you are welcome with a day ticket. You can then enter from 09:00 a.m. and continue to enjoy yourself until 11:00 p.m. at the latest.

Can we book a place with friends or family at the same time?

If you like to stand together with friends or family (which is also the most fun!) it is best to indicate a preferred spot when booking. Then you are sure of your spot and you can not be moved. You can indicate this when booking.

Is the site car-free during the festival?

Yes, the site itself is car-free. You can park your car at one of the designated areas nearby. Follow the signs and instructions from our team, and you’ll be guided safely to your spot in no time!

What time can I enter the festival?

On Saturday, the site opens at 11:00 AM and you can enjoy the program until the final performance (ending at 09:30 PM).

Can I leave the grounds and come back later?

It is possible to leave the grounds and return later. Your festival wristband also serves as your entry pass.

What should I do if I’ve lost something?

Lost and found items can be handed in or picked up at the reception. After the festival, you can contact us at welkom@buitengoeddeboomgaard.nl

Is first aid available?

Yes, there is a first aid station on the premises. If you need help, feel free to approach one of our staff members!

Is the festival area wheelchair accessible?

The festival site is not fully accessible for people with disabilities. We do have a ground-level accessible toilet in the restroom building, and the catering area is fully accessible. Please note that the rest of the festival takes place on the grass.

Will the festival continue in case of bad weather?

Yes, the festival will continue in bad weather. As an outdoor venue, we have facilities to move most of the program indoors.
