FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Is it possible to stay overnight?

Tickets are easily purchased through our website on the Search and Book page. Outdoor happiness is best experienced when you come to enjoy the whole weekend.

A weekend ticket costs 75 euros for adults and 30 euros for children 4 years and older, younger children can come for free. These prices are automatically processed when you book your camping spot or accommodation.

Prefer to come and taste Buitengeluk for a day? On Saturdays you are welcome with a day ticket. You can then enter from 09:00 a.m. and continue to enjoy yourself until 11:00 p.m. at the latest.

Can we book a place with friends or family at the same time?

If you like to stand together with friends or family (which is also the most fun!) it is best to indicate a preferred spot when booking. Then you are sure of your spot and you can not be moved. You can indicate this when booking.

What is there to do for children?

Children can have fun with circus workshops, craft activities, fire and nature workshops, dancing, learning to write songs from a Singer song writer, baking sandwiches, kidsyoga, silent disco, face painting, jumping (from very high!) and joining in with all the musicians. And of course there is plenty of room to play freely in nature. The entire program will be online soon.

What kind of music and activities can I expect?

Think acoustic performances, yoga sessions, creative workshops, inspirational moments, massages and an atmospheric silent disco. Activities that relax, connect and surprise.

Is the hospitality pavilion open during the festival?

Yes, during the festival you can come here for cold drinks, tasty snacks, lunch and whole meals. There are also several food trucks, so plenty of goodies to enjoy throughout the day!

Can I park with you?

We recommend coming by bike or public transport. If you come by car, you can park in our lot, but for this you will also need a parking ticket and supplies are limited (gone = gone).

Can I leave the grounds and come back later?

It is possible to leave the grounds and return later. Your festival wristband also serves as your entry pass.

How can I pay at Buitengeluk Festival?

At the festival, we use special festival tokens, which you can use to pay at the food trucks and for certain activities or workshops. You can buy these tokens at the token booth on site (card payments only). Additionally, at the festival market and various stands, you can also pay directly—either by card or cash.

Are tickets sold at the door?

Yes, tickets are also available at the entrance. At the door, a ticket costs €16,50. Online, you can get family tickets at a better price. To be sure of your spot, it’s best to buy your ticket online in advance.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No need to print it. Your e-ticket with QR code is in your email, and you can simply have it scanned from your phone. Make sure your screen is bright enough and your battery is charged!

Where can I find the special Buitengeluk shirts and hoodies later?

We’ve got awesome shirts and hoodies that let you take a little extra Buitengeluk with you! Pick them up at our shop or at the festival market, great as a souvenir or to wear straight away.

Can I exchange my tokens for money after the event?

No, tokens cannot be exchanged for money after the festival. So try to estimate what you’ll need, or grab a tasty treat from one of our food trucks at the end!

Are there special places to sit or relax?

Absolutely. Throughout the site, you’ll find various spots to sit and relax. There are also cozy seating areas where you can retreat for a while, perfect if you’re looking for some quiet time!

Is the site car-free during the festival?

Yes, the site itself is car-free. You can park your car at one of the designated areas nearby. Follow the signs and instructions from our team, and you’ll be guided safely to your spot in no time!

What should I do if I’ve lost something?

Lost and found items can be handed in or picked up at the reception. After the festival, you can contact us at welkom@buitengoeddeboomgaard.nl

Is first aid available?

Yes, there is a first aid station on the premises. If you need help, feel free to approach one of our staff members!

What time can I enter the festival?

On Saturday, the site opens at 11:00 AM and you can enjoy the program until the final performance (ending at 09:30 PM).

Do I have to pay for the workshops and activities?

Many activities are free and included with your ticket, but for some specific activities or workshops (like massages or portrait illustrations), a small fee applies. You can pay for these with a token, which you can buy at the Buitengoed camper on the festival grounds.

Is the festival area wheelchair accessible?

The festival site is not fully accessible for people with disabilities. We do have a ground-level accessible toilet in the restroom building, and the catering area is fully accessible. Please note that the rest of the festival takes place on the grass.

Will the festival continue in case of bad weather?

Yes, the festival will continue in bad weather. As an outdoor venue, we have facilities to move most of the program indoors.
